All administrative functions are handled through the web interface. Here, users with administrative privileges can set default values, behaviors, and appearances of the application. Adding and maintaining users is also accomplished through this interface. There are four levels of user security: Administrative, User, Query Only, and Single Container.

While most organizations use standard 6x12 racks, tube.tracker® understands that racks come in all shapes and sizes. Administrators have full control over the types of racks defined in tube.tracker®. Rack types can be added, modified, and inactivated/reactivated.

Administrators can also define containers. Containers can consists of refrigerators within the confines of your lab or they can span the distance of the enterprise. tube.tracker® doesn't care.
