Adding specimens to the tube.tracker database is extremely simple. First, the user enters the container, rack size, and ID of a rack. Then, specimen IDs are inputted through our easy-to-use interface. Users can use either keyboard entry or barcode readers to input specimen IDs.

With a barcode reader, over twenty tubes can be entered in a minute.
